Leadership DNA
Effective and inspirational leadership is commonly viewed as central to organizational success, and more importance is being on leadership development than ever before. Increasingly, leadership is defined not as what the leader does but rather as a process that engenders and is the result of relationships—relationships that focus on the interactions of both leaders and collaborators instead of focusing on only the competencies of the leaders.

We believe that organizations must clearly define their leadership DNA and aggressively manage their leadership talent to ensure the right talent is in the leadership pipeline to occupy the right places at the right time.

Design

OUR SOLUTIONS
  • Design of competency frameworks aligned with business goals and values
  • Crystallize behavioural traits for competencies in line with the existing business environment and organization maturity
  • Creation of assessment tools to evaluate employees on the proficiency levels for each competency
Design of competency frameworks
Defining and measuring effectiveness in terms of skills, behaviours and attitudes are critical to any organization’s quest for sustained growth. While formal education, experience and personal characteristics are parts of the whole, integration of these attributes and alignment to the organization’s goals are key to how these competencies are defined and measured. Creation of a standardized approach to performance which is clear and accessible to everyone in the company is the cornerstone of measuring success.

We believe that creating a competency framework is an effective method to assess, maintain, and monitor the knowledge, skills, and attributes of people in your organization. The framework allows you to measure current competency levels to make sure your staff members have the expertise needed to add value to the business. It also helps managers make informed decisions about talent recruitment, retention, and succession strategies.

Validation

OUR SOLUTIONS
  • Building case repositories for existing competency framework
  • Benchmarking competency frameworks with best in class models
  • Realigning existing competency dictionary
Validation of competency frameworks
While organizations do invest considerable time and effort to define competencies, it is also essential that given the dynamic nature of business today, these frameworks get benchmarked against competitors and other industries to provide a validation of existing competency definitions. Additionally, it is critical that these competencies are clearly understood and enabled across roles and levels.

We recognize that an ‘outside-in’ perspective on competencies can add great value to how the framework takes shape and evolve. With our experience of creating and validating competency frameworks across industries, we bring to the table the expertise that enables organizations to assess, redefine, realign and institutionalise their competency frameworks.
