Developed an Entry Strategy

Client Background
The Client is a major MNC in Life Sciences space with a business interest of over 6 Billion USD worldwide. The Indian operation was a critical component and a part of the strategy shift.

Problem Statement
The challenge faced by the client was to build an India Entry Strategy.

Solution Design
The Strategist proposed a 3 dimension Approach as a part of the India Entry Strategy ranging from India Due Diligence, Aligning & Enabling the Business Strategy and consolidating the first line managers. As a part of the solution, the first emphasis was to conduct an India due diligence which focused on the current HR practices, Compensation levels, Labour Laws, Cultural ethos etc. The second step was to identify whether enough talent pool existed and if yes in which pockets etc.
As part of the assignment besides the above deliverables we delivered an Employee Handbook and Alignment Grid, representing the Org. in campuses and recruiting the first line leaders.
